hello. been riding a bit but i havn't posted anything since our trip to russian river. here are a few photographs for you. enjoy

there's a place we call "the bunker" up on the headlands. it's a 30 minute ride from my front door. i've never seen another human there, and that's what makes it so great.

and the waves are just close enough to hear

this is baker beach, about 10 minutes from the house.

then you have bolinas ridge (or the seven sisters) over on the side of tam about 20 miles from the house

i like to come up here and lay down on the grass. it's about 2000 ft up

this is a little waterfall on the front side of tam. this is the BEST tasting water!

i went to the bike expo down at cow palace on the border of daly city and sf.. i usually don't put city (tank) rides on here, but i thought the expo was pretty cool, so what the hell eh? rode down to the palace and while looking for the entrance somehow i accidentally snuck in. first i ended up "backstage" where all the bmx'ers were "taking off" so i had a nice vantage point for some videos like this:

   then i tried to get inside, accidentally placing me on the starting line of the cyclo-cross race..  i followed the riders and veered off into the building.. never found the front entrance, but suddenly i was inside.. cool!

then after a quick trip through the super-ghetto i ran inside (my house), swapped bikes, met up with pat in at the flatlands (ggp @ 6th and fulton) and we rode headlands during the sunset.

san bruno mountain. had to knock it out, it was just sitting there looking at us. we bailed down to ocean beach and took great highway to skyline blvd to john daly blvd. then we climbed up through the neighborhoods and found the peak. on the way back down we found a bridge (we climbed up) that turned out to be Guadeloupe canyon rd.. this is where we coined the phrase "bail-down to bayshore"..

also - i forgot to start the track until we got to the ocean, and this was during the phase in which i had a TERRIBLE experience with my new fuji roubaix pro from performance bike. i spent months sitting in the shop when i should have been training. i will never ever shop there again. this was very frustrating, as my bike was breaking in a different way on literally every ride (every day). don't worry, i got all of my money back, just not my time.
