SF > marshal wall > bofax

did a little marshall wall to bofax.. slightly over 100 miles, and i think a little bit over 10,000 feet climbing. stopped at the cheese factory as usual, and took a power nap in the grass on bolinas ridge (side of mount tam) on the way back. nice ride, but a pretty big one for not having been riding much.

superbowl sunday and suprisingly enough the mountain is packed.. that's what i get for riding late on a nice sunday. woke up early, discovered a problem with my new tyre so i rode around in the presidio until the shop opened up and then i swapped it out with a better one.
here's a picture of a very small south side waterfall.. i need to go back to the north side to get some more pictures of the huge ones.. stupid hard drive failure.. don't forget to back up now children!

WINTER! well there goes my laptop's hard drive.. had some nice pictures from this one but now they're gone. oh well.. i uploaded one right before the failure.. young redwoods for you here.

it was taken with my new camera.. $65 shipped at dell.com; a fujifilm a170. working well thus far. anyway, this ride was FULL of waterfalls.. HUGE waterfalls.. so many waterfalls i had to stop and relieve myself about 15 times.. lost some data from a few other rides also.. it's all good.. a lot of headlands in there and you don't need to hear about that again. good news is i just ordered a 320 gb hitachi for $50.. hopefully this one lasts.
